I kicked off the week in Omaha, Nebraska, then made my way down to Laredo, Texas, back up to Oklahoma City, and finally over to Valdosta, Georgia. Covered a lot of ground this week and had a great time doing it. Picked up some exciting new experiences in Laredo running cross-border loads.

Driver questions

Fast answers future drivers care about.

Is this an official Swift website?

No. Ride With Donnie B is my personal website. I currently work with Swift Transportation and share my own experience to help people make a better decision.

Can you help me talk to a recruiter?

Yes. The goal is to connect serious people with a recruiter and help answer questions before applying.

What if I do not have a CDL?

You can still start here. Swift has an excellent training program, that will prepare you for your new career. Getting your CDL is a big move, and has life changing opportunity.

Are you going owner-operator?

I am considering it. If I move that direction, I will document the decision honestly: money, risk, maintenance, freedom, taxes, and stress.

How do referrals work?

Use the referral path on this site when you are ready. The referral form will be sent to one of the recruiters I've worked with in the past . And we will help you get the information you need to start your new career.
